Best advice is to find a boat that looks well maintained. Thats hard to define but easy to spot.
A well maintained boat will stand out.

In the past, Bayliner has had problems with aluminum fuel tank corrosion due to improper installation, i.e., using wood braces that touch the aluminum. Aluminum doesn't like being wet and corrodes. See the link below for some photos of 3270 tanks (and the replacement project).AKBASSKING wrote:

Your surveyor should already know this but make sure he/she takes a look.
Wiring is another Bayliner weak area.

Due to my experience with a 98 3388 here in Michigan make sure if you are interested in this boat by all means have a survey and pay special attention to the stringers and their moisture content.

Thanks everyone. We looked at the boat this past weekend and I believe it has too many issues and it was neglected.
