Hello all Chicagoland BOCer's

My son is looking at a boat that is at a place called Grand Sport Center. It is located in Lake in the Hills, IL

Northwest part of Chicagoland.

Anybody heard good or bad about this place?

Roger, I know they have 2 locations , the Lake in the Hills and 1 further south in Morris which looks like it may be closer for you guys being that your profile says central ,IL. A friend of mine bought a bass boat from the southern location and got a very good deal , he still has the boat. Good luck

They have a pretty good reputation around here. I'd sooner buy from them than our local Bayliner dealer.

Is he looking at one of their Bayliners for sale?

they are very fair people and have fair prices on service

like any human they made mistakes but they always took care of me and made it

right.

if i was looking for a new or used boat i would give them a try first :arr

......... there is a 21 foot 1989 Mirage openbow with dual axle trailer for 5900 that he is interested in. I kind of thought that was alittle high though it for a 1989 is in great shape. The merc outdrive has been rebuilt or replaced with a rebuilt. I said offer them 3500 and see where you meet.

We have known the family for years. The Millers are top notch. Management in Morris is Jerry (I don't think he is related)

Feel free to give a call to the Lake in the Hills location and ask for Mark, tell him Chuck and Peggy told you to call. Never hurts to grease the wheels with the owners We knew them starting back in their River Grove days when they sold Suzuki bikes and Baja jets.
