Thats great to hear. Glad you like yours. Sounds like the FX HO with 160 hp is plenty! Nice that it tows, exactly what we want to do, thanks for the tip on the valve. Drop anchor and have playtime!
Anyone want to buy a dinghy?

IMHO the Yamaha VX Cruiser is plenty and did win several awards. The term cruiser is because this is why it was designed for, cruising. The one you are looking at has a much bigger engine and could be more considered a sport bike if you know what I mean. Not the fastest but 52 mph is more than enough. It will sit 3 people and has the most economical engine of them all (4 stroke, 4 cylinder fuel injected, 110hp). I purchased mine brand spanking new in the US for under $7000 in very early 2009 as a 2008 leftover. Really, really nice machine. My criteria was the most fuel efficient model out their in a fuel injected 4 stroke and the VX Cruiser at the time was on the top of all searching I did. There is a picture of it in my album beside my boat. Highly recommend it.
As a bonus, it tows like nothing behind my boat at 30 mph with only a 4 person inflatable tow rope. Been through wind and wave of all sorts and it tracks like it was on rails. Fuel consumption does go up about 10-12% though. Also, you do need to modify the engine water intake by installing a shutoff valve if you want to tow it.

FX HO Cruiser...... Cant edit the title...
Looking at one of these to add to the fleet. I like it, it has many nice options and is large and stable (as I am large and unstable). Seeing it and researching it, it is more like a cruiser motorcycle than a sport bike, which is fine with me. 58 mph is fast enough. Only 21 hours. Dealership is asking 7500, I am thinking offering 5500.
Thoughts?
