FINALLY got away from the dock!

Picked up 3270 in January, have been doing projects ever since to ensure I could keep wifey happy - replaced sanitary hoses, tidied up wiring, cut in a transom gate, added a diesel furnace, replaced stove, added propane sensors & cut off, added inverter, added foredeck access to chain locker - still more in hand, but it’s past time to just go - and we did.

First overnighter was a whole 2 hour run around the south tip of Quadra, and inside Rebecca Spit for Father’s Day. Boat ran smooth, weather was perfect, anchorage was amazingly uncrowded. Had a dead calm night, didn’t need furnace (!), coffee with Bailey’s in the morning - smiling wife, very very happy skipper.

Run home was just as smooth, hope the whole season goes as well!

LOL - thanks Kevin - though 2 hours thru protected waters is pretty minuscule compared to your 2 days solo runs in open ocean!!

Loved Rebecca Spit! I was with a couple of other boats from our club. I took advantage of the Wi-Fi and completed the application to start social security paying me.
