I bought this from Amazon to add to the one that came with the cover, it is adjustable (twist lock), 4 straps, bottom foot, top cap. Works great.

Although not perfect, you might want to try these.

Harbor Master ABS Boat Cover Support Pole, 3Pk - Walmart.com

I put a nitrile glove over the domed top to get a little better traction.

Without a snap or sleeve or some sort of strap system, most non-secured poles will eventually fall over when the cover moves a bit during high winds and/or /storms.

On my 1998 model I used a strap/pole combination system that did a pretty good job....like this--

    Pole for mooring cover

My mooring cover has one pole holding up the cover in the middle of the stern area. But the cover droops by the starboard stern area and rain water collects there in a puddle. I added a pole but since there is no sleeve holding it, it tends to fall over. Outside of trying to sew on a sleeve does anyone have any advice as to how to get the pole to stay upright?
