Converted a Sea Ray bigot this weekend-gctid352550

I was chatting with the marina manager by the fuel dock, and someone walked up who wanted to look at some boats for sale. He asked me if I'd take them down my dock to see a couple (we have a locked gate to get to the slips). I said sure, and proceeded to talk boats while we walked. I asked what he was looking for and he said a Sea Ray in the low 30-foot range. He also explained why Sea Ray is the only boat to buy. I said, well, there's one just like mine at the other marina, and my wife and I absolutely love ours, you want to take a look at it? Notice I didn't specify brand. We got to my slip, stepped on, gave him the tour. They loved it, and couldn't get over all the space and seating it has. Toward the end, in the galley, he commented that his last Sea Ray had Corian countertops and mine are laminate. I said, "This is a Bayliner, they spend the money on useful features instead of glamour."

After getting over the shock of actually really liking a Bayliner, they took down directions to the other marina and the phone number for the owner of the 3055 that's for sale.
