  • Los Angeles Boat Show...-gctid352168

Has any one gone to this years boat show? I am sitting this one out since the last decent boat show I went to was 2007. I go expecting to see new product, buy accessories, and find vendors. Last year I found a Jack Sparrow look alike and an alligator show. :thumbThis year I read they are haveing water balls and a motorcycle act.:surr If any body from this board does go please fill us in.

I was there on Saturday from 10:00 to Noon and it was really slow. Saw some old friends but actually left without spending a dime on anything as there were very few accessories for sale. Got a free insurance quote from Boat US and got two very nice canvas bags for free.

Thanks Dave, that's what I figured. I read about all the good shows like Vancover and Florida and just don't understand why Los Angeles isn't at the top of the heap. As far as manufactures are concerned I am confident that the dealers that give the best value and service will sell the boats. The closest dealer to me is New Port beach, 60 miles away and not worth driving to. Its sad that a company like Bayliner can't provide a dealership in Los Angeles. Aside from several large lakes we also have Marina Del Rey, King Harbor and Long Beach.
