Hello all,
I'm new member to the forum as well as a new member of the boating community. I grew up boating with my grandfather and uncles, but once I started high school, life became too busy for boating. Fast forward nearly 30 years and here I am restarting my boating life, trying to give to my daughters the fun and excitement that I had as a kid on the water. So, my wife has been hounding me for a travel trailer, I decided to go and buy a boat. I purchased a 23ft 1986 Ciera. It's in great condition for a boat that's almost 30 years old. There are a couple of things I'm looking for; first, what model do I have exactly? The HIN is BLBB63SBB686. Second, I bought this with all the canvas but no instruction sheet on how to install the canvas. To make it a bit more difficult, it looks like the main piece over the cockpit was remade. Does anyone know how the poles go together to get the canvas on securely? I want to have it covered up for the remainder of the winter here in the Pacific Northwest. The previous owner had it in covered moorage.
