    Thru hull replacement-gctid350933

I have a 2008 192 that has the two lockers in the floor of the cockpit. On the inside of each lid is a trough that has a drain running to the port side just barely above water line. The thru hulls here are plastic and I would like to change these to metal. (These appear to be 3/4" hose barb)

My boat tech tells me he can't find any of these to do a replacement......?

Has anyone been there done that, or have any advice?

    Thanks
    FNT

Apollo is a good brand, so is Perko, spendy though, I have a 1" Apollo bronze flanged thru hull valve on ebay starting for 27.99 + $11.00 shipping, retail is much higher, you also would need the threaded strainer for the bottom. There are some good maralon valves out there, Fisheries supply or GO2 MARINE AND OTHERS, GOOGLE IT.

I think you will find these drains are most likely 1/2". Even if they are 3/4", there are plenty of places where you can order the fittings in stainless or bronze.

I mis read the op, SS thru hulls are not expensive, any large marine supply should have them, try West marine online or GO2marine, or just google it, be sure of the hose size.

SS 3/4" hose barb thru hull, or 1/2" is what to look for.
