    What’s wrong with this boat?

I happen to notice this 50’ Sea Ray on YW. Kind of reminds me of a 3988 on steroids but I doubt there’s a 39 out there for 90K!

The first thing for me is the master and large guest bunks. They both look like middle of the night “climb overs”. The Admiral already hit the reject button and hasn’t seen any of the pictures.

A member on here sold his 3988 for somewhere in the 60’s. It was listed for over a year for I think 65k. Down in Cape Coral Florida where I have my retirement home. As much as I wanted it, that area has hurricanes so it’s not a good place to leave a boat unattended if you live 3,000 miles away. If only I was closer to retirement.

No flybridge or ER pics. No deck pics. Rebuilt DD could mean anything. Pics look older. Potato camera.

I get it’s been used and abused but a 50’ er for 90, probably take 75-80. Might be a cheap way in. This doesn’t interest me in the least for a lot of reasons, engines for one, but someone wants a condo on the water might.

potato camera is a cheap, low res camera. Basically a pos.
