This weekend was our mid summer 'spring' cleaning. We are on our boat Fri pm- Sun pm about 40 weekends a year so a few times a year we have a serious deep cleaning, more intensive than the usual wipe downs etc. Admiral brought the dyson for some vacuuming of the monkey fur, which cleans up nice. I had the idea to get that thing down in the bilge. I was surprised at the amount of crud that builds up down there. Man it is clean now.Had the admiral take pic of me in action! Take a pic or it didn't happen...

After the back end was rebuilt after dry rot infestation, I painted the bilge WHITE. It's ready for any Admiral's inspection any time. Everything is in plastic containers, held down by bungee cords, too.

. . . . inquiring minds want to know . . . . I've thought about the Dawn and water route (as long as I'm on land) but in my case - another stupid question is the one I don't ask before I do it differently!!

Oh yeah . . . . what kindof paint did you use too?
