    Uniflite 42 AC project

Moved her to home slip yesterday, new project has begun finally...
Beautiful teak salon, but water stain damage over the years.
sanded her down, hand rubbed Watco teak oil.
she came with some plastic lawn chairs & folding camping chairs.
bought all new furniture to make her our home... blue love seat is getting pulled out, repalcing it with 1 more barrel chair.

Nice, she will be a beautiful lady when you are finished with the refurb. Good luck with the project. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Is the water damage just caused by humidity?

                    Yes mainly caused by humidity...
condensation builds up overnight especially when it's cold out then everything will drip down.
here is a better video what she was like first day right after I bought her... nice Cooler salon couch
every boat in the PNW will need a good working dehumidifier/ air dryer.
I got 2 of em going now!

                        I cruise @1400~1500 RPM 11~12 knots, WOT @ 2500 she'll do about 19~20 knots.
Dave, she is a very heavy girl... approximately 45,000 lbs.
a bullet proof tank like built hull comes with its price & weight.

11-12 knots seems really good at such a low rpm and the ability to take her up to near 20 is impressive, how many GPH you burn at the 11-12k cruise speed? 45000lbs is quite substantial, does it have a weighted keel like a trawler?

Current was behind us pushing her pretty good during that sea trial time...10-11K cruise burning about 8 GPH total.
No weighted keel, all that weight is strictly from layers of hand laid glass.
flared Carolina classic bow line like Hatteras Bertram with very deep great bow... Her flared bow line is actually what got me sold, looks so damn sexy & got me started looking at these boats.
she will track straight as an arrow, once the steering wheel is set, almost like she's autopiloting.
