Recently became owner of this Bayliner but am having trouble with power. Thinking it may be the prop. Does anyone out there know the original prop size / pitch installed on this boat? Cannot seem to find a manual or get this info online. Any assistance would be appreciated!!
My 1987 2850 command bridge had the Ford 460/King Cobra and came with a 15dia. X 17" pitch from the factory. I believe that boat and yours are the same, only differences are in the trim and interior colors. I found that prop worked great - cruised at 3400 rpm/about 22 mph, and WOT was within recommended range (about 4600-4800 rpm as I remember)
