Ok, may guess is a Mastercraft boat. Has big engine options, Sits low on a trailer to meet your garage door opening, and had hefty $70k -$100k price tag. Also I think they are made in Michigan.

          Good guess, but no.

It's also, sadly, not a Bayliner, despite my best efforts to the contrary.

Still some gestating to do, stay tuned.

Hmm..... Statecraft is in that region. I'm still leaning towards a ski boat style that you purchased.

                        Damn you guys are good.

May as well spill it now. I bought a 2018 Four Winns 210 Horizon. We had to order it, it will be here in about 8 weeks.

So the elephant in the room: I was all set to buy a Bayliner VR6 until we measured the height on the trailer and learned it was over 8 feet tall with the wakeboard tower folded (which is how you want to order them). The VR5 had the exact same problem since it's basically the same boat. This meant the Bayliners were out of the running and I had to be comfortable with looking at other brands. It also meant I had to give up on a build-in head compartment, since that was the reason the boats were too tall. I even considered the brand spanking new Sea Ray 230 SPX (that they JUST now got around to putting on their website, even though the boats have been in stock since September).

So I looked at everything on the market and settled around this and a Regal 2100. The Regal had low freeboard and was V6-only, and when we compared the two, the FW got the nod.

Sorry Bayliner. I really wanted to buy the VR and I still think it's a hell of a boat.

Yep, that's what I meant. You guessed it. The other guesses were pretty well-informed too.
