    MV Skagit goes down-gctid401054

    The MV Skagit, formerly used by WA state ferries has gone down, taking 24 with her.

    I guess this is what happens when you take a boat designed for inland waters run it in the ocean.

    Nevermind she was loaded with over 290 (designed for 250) and probably had tons of cargo aboard. This isn't the first they've lost on that route.

      That was the first thing I thought. "Load limit" doesn't seem to mean much to those people until something stops flying floating or rolling.
