    2005 bravo 2 prop removal

Hey everyone. I was removing My Bravo Two propellers today for the first time since I just bought the boat it's a 2005 and they were very difficult getting off and had to bang them several times with a block of wood. The aft crown washer on the back of the propeller where the nut & lock washer folds into, that is supposed to be A Separate Peace and not part of the propeller correct? I'm asking because it seems like it is welded on to the propeller somehow and I cannot separate it. Any input is appreciated as always

Some props have the crown built into them and other don't so they use the separate crown washer. It is recommended to remove the props and grease the parts yearly to prevent them from corroding together.

I have had Bravo 2 and Bravo 3 drives for many years and never seen the propellers come with that attached but maybe they changed it
