    Confederation Basin in Kingston Ontario-gctid400112

Finally made our way to Kingston by boat this weekend. I have been there so many times by land, it was fun to see it from the the water. My wife and I enjoyed our three day weekend. Here are some pics!

It really is something to see from the waterway. Confed is a great spot to moor, being right in the heart of downtown. Plenty of transient docking available, lots of places to eat. Heck i live 10 minutes from downtown/Confed, but i launch the boat and cruise to confed just to go get ice cream at white mountain or dinner at milestones, lol.

    Glad you enjoyed your trip.

We quit going to Confederation Basin a few years ago. Yes it is in an excellent location and I do like Kingston but the marina is so poorly run we just skip it and head down the Bateau.

Their reservation system is terrible and they constantly put boats in slips that are too small for them. I had to back into 27 foot long slip with my 3288 which is more like 35 feet long but when it comes to paying....they charge by the foot...boat length not dock length.

It's OK....lots of towns on the US side to take my money!

Free or cheap docks, right down town and they know how to use a ruler!
