Casting numbers on the rear of the block will tell you what it is for sure as the 305 and 350 look identical.

Plus one with builderdude. The numbers are the only way to tell with the heads on.

Why you pulling the heads?? Do you think there may be issues with the valves, seats or head gaskets etc?? If so has a compression, leak down and cooling system pressure test been performed to verify the issues your having?

Okay here's the scoop on this boat 9 years ago the heads were completely rebuilt and redone .. then this boat was parked in dry storage for 9 years and was never started from what I understand there was no water in it there was no fuel in any of fuel lines we took it down to the heads and just as I said they look brand-new they didn't even have any oil in them the oil in the oil pan looks good but it will not turn over it is stuck I'm guessing that the Rings are stuck ...

I see. After 9 years, yes the rings are likely rusted to the cylinder wall.

No oil on the walls and consendation will cause corrosion and lock it up.

Not sure I'll get the heads off and look at it and see where I'm at.. probably just do a full rebuild.. maybe deglaze it and ring it I don't know I need to get in there and Gage it and see what kind of damage is there

You sure it ain't the drive or gimbal frozen?

                        What drive ?

Fill it to the brim with desiel or kero.

Pickle it for a few days.

Drain, and change the filter. Add oil one quart shy and add a quart of at fluid.

Rock the engine crank back and forth might free it up. Try to use the flywheel do not use the crank bolt, snap that you will be in a world of hurt.

Maybe removing the plugs and shooting oil in the holes may help.
Be good, be happy, for tomorrow is promised to no man !

I guess it could be the drive I'm pulling it off anyways to put new boots on it. And and seals and Bering ..I'll try that before I go any further. And someone has already tried putting oil in the cylinders with no help

And by saying pickle that you mean to put vinegar in the holes like I would have free up a tractor or something
