    Bayliner 2655 Dash Replacement-gctid827460

    Hi Fellow Baylinerers,

I am looking at replacing my old "Star Wars" style dash from my 1991 2655 Ciera. It would be nice to update it to 1996 dash. Can anyone tell me if a 1996 dash will bolt straight in? I'm also considering option of a custom-built fibreglass dash as purchase cost + import looks prohibitive unless I can find something local.

I am in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

I read an article about this company making dash layouts for any boat. This might be a start for you. They are based out of New York.

      Hi

You could try arnolds fibreglass in Brisbane for the custom option.

Looking online, it may be possible to remove current one, respray and then get custom panels in acrylic from, I think its called QLD Acrylics, in Brendale.

I am currently changing my dash in a 2005 Trophy. I am doing it myself. I have a relatively flat dash panel though.

That is the other option, move to a modern style dash layout of virtually flat panels, just angled. Kind of like you see in centre consoles etc. The two above could help with this also.

I will let others comment on size of 1996 dash. I saw a few for sale on boatpoint, have a look and maybe take a tape measure for dash sizes.

      Cheers Adam
