Welcome Al! My standard request: on your profile page, edit your signature to add your boat information and generally where you live.
I got replacement hatches for my 1980 2950 Encounter from Fisheries Supply in Seattle. The brand name has changed but if you tell them the size they can probably set you up.
Nomenclature is so subject to interpretation, if you are talking about a portlight, the small hatches mounted to the side of the hull, here's the likely link or something close. https://www.fisheriessupply.com/beck...roductBookMark
If, however, you are talking about the deck hatch that around 20x20 and the plexiglass/lexan lens has holes in it, that's very repairable. If you can work with wood you can make your own or there's an outfit in Florida that can make it for you if you send them either the lens or a template. The trick to installing is using G.E. Ultraglaze silicone.

If you include a photo, It would quickly tell the tale.
I just replaced my fore deck hatch and still have the original one... it has been repaired and doesnt leak and would make a great "low budget" replacement for one that is beyond repair... the PO installed a piece of un-tinted privacy plexi in it, so it defracts the sunlight and cant be seen thru.... not a perfect unit but very usable.
