PSA: Check your anchor shackle pin-gctid820794

With the family, spending 2 weeks in Desolation Sound. Had to make a detour today to purchase a new anchor. As it turns out, the anchor shackle pin decided to back out while we were pulling up the anchor. The pin "should have been" secured with a 10 cent bit of wire that would ensure the pin could not back out of the shackle but alas, it was not. As a result, we donated a 15kg anchor to Neptune.

Replaced it with a new Rochna "Vulcan" anchor and we hope to Live Long and Prosper.
