    2017 Multifunction gauges-gctid819868

after a couple hours of searching online this maybe a longshot, but here goes: Does anyone know anywhere online you can get a set of the multifunction gauges Bayliner is using in several of their current boats? Have a friend that really likes the look and thinks they will fit in the dash space he's got on a boat he's refurbing. No dealer nearby on his end so we're hoping there's a way to get them online without the hassle.

I've tried searching for them but can't find any documentation on who makes them/model number and i'm not in town with my boat to go looking under the dash. Not the best picture but these are the one's I'm talking about. The Speed/fuel/Battery and Tach/oil/water gauges:

    Thanks.

Most likely you'll find them if you go to www.fariabeede.com and search for multifunction gauges

That was the first place we checked, but nothing on their site at least that comes close. I was 99% sure they are Faria but wondering if they aren't available retail.

I will have my boat in to the dealer in about a week for service (ironically in part due an issue with one of the gauges) so I may just wait till then. Seems odd that it's so difficult to track down information on parts, etc for anything more recent then around 2011. Unless I'm missing some secret resource for such things.

I thought they were Faria as well. Interesting that they are not at least on Faria's website. I have worked with them in replacement gauges and they have been great. They won't sell you a gauge, but they may be able to direct you to a local retailer in your area. I would call your service department where you bought the boat,...they would know what make, model gauges you have..

That's the one alright! or 1 of the 2 anyway.

Armed now with the model number, I find... more of nothing. Appears that these just aren't available outside of authorized dealers probably. Guessing the auction on ebay is for one pulled out of a boat? Doesn't look like there are any others being sold that I can see at least. Called a dealer relatively close and was told they don't sell them - but would be happy to install one directly. Not quite what we were looking for.

When I get my boat in next week I'll see if my local shop will sell me an 'extra' pair if he hasn't found a set he likes better by then.

              Thanks.

Strongly suggest you call Great Lakes Skipper with the model number and ask them to do the digging for you.

Alternately, you could just call Faria directly.

I have talked with Faria directly, they will NOT sell you gauges. They will replace a broken one however...I don't understand that corporate mentality, but hey that's just me...

Try contacting the eBay seller. He seems to have a lot of them. The listing shows he has more the 10 and has already sold 10. I don't think he is removing them from boats.

No they wouldn't tell me who carried the specific model/type of gauge. They just told me who the retailer dealers were....

RobMick - That was the same response I got. I'm new to the boating world, but it confounds me how insular some of this is. I get that parts can be highly specialized/specific and that manufacturers will make exclusive deals with different boat makers, but it's crazy that they should have such tight restrictions on where/how someone can buy a part aftermarket.

I talked to the dealer nearest my friend's place to see if they would sell us a set and was told that they wouldn't do it. They had/could get them, but wouldn't sell them outright they would only install them on Bayliners as replacements. I could give them my hull number, they would order them and install them if I brought my boat in, but wouldn't touch the deal otherwise. So oh well... he'll get a different set of gauges somewhere.
