    Bravo 2 power loss-gctid819215

Hi, Can anyone tell me what the problem might be, While powering up both motors to get my boat

on the plane, it appears to lose power to the prop on the starboard engine revs go up, as if a clutch is slipping

like in a vehicle. This is a new problem just started today and happens at about 3000 r/m.

      First thought for me too.

If you haven't seen or smelled any bits of rubber around the coupler area then it could be just the prop hub, a much simpler task to repair.

Thanks for your replies, The boat lives in the marina so how would i best identify the problem ?

Sorry, I should add that after it losses power and I back off it still goes back into forward and reverse smoothly and drives the boat at slow speeds as if theres nothing wrong
