I put the boat in storage last winter and everything was working great. This year the two year old Jabsco electric toilet is not pulling water in from the lake. It pumps out just fine if I fill it with shower head water. What might the Problem be?? Thanks for any suggestions. Garchar

Start with the "duh!" part first. Did you open the thru hull valve? Ask me why I ask...
Okay, fresh water or salt? Salt can build up on the pump and really slow the works down. Have you tried to reverse flush the intake line? I once had a couple of rather dead shrimp stuck where the intake hose fits onto the pump. If you want to get crazy you could use a bucket of water and a hose to see if the pump is sucking. Hopefully it's as simple as that for you too.

I installed a electric jabsco last year and I'm trying to remember if there was a small filter or screen at the pump. I think there is. Do you hear the pump motor running when you call for water?
If you cant hear the pump motor I'd look for electrical problems, blown fuse, loose connection maybe. If you hear the fill pump but no water its most likely a filter or screen. The electric flush has two separate pumps. A maserator and a pump to fill the bowl with water. Worst case, if your temperatures dipped below freezing over winter you may have had some water trapped in the impellor and it may have cracked.
As Pete said the thru hull valve is a good one to check, That's happened to me too.
