Water coming from somewehe - anyone had windows leaking?-gctid816842

    Hi all,

I have a 2159 and the only 2 hull penetrations are the sea cocks going from the pump out toilet. Whoever, if I leave the boat for 2-3-4 weeks unattended, I have about 4-6 inch of watrer in the bilge. I tested the water in the bilge and in Thames  the bilge looks like a non-salted water. I can only say the water comes from the above

I have been suggested that the leak may come from the slider guides in the windows, do anyone have similar experience? How to repair these and where can I find parts? Thanks for help

Look very closely at your rub/join rail for gaps in the top caulking. If that looks good, next, I would set up a sprinkler to simulate various intensities of rainfall and look for leaks. You want to do this in an "as moored" condition, that is as you leave the boat when it is gaining water.

By all means, clear the window tracks and drains. It's going to take patience, but when you find it or them it's very satisfying.
