I am visiting a harbor which drys out, I have got a 30ft Bayliner 288 and I wanted to know if its safe to do so. The sand is relatively soft, no wave action as its sheltered, so my question is would it be ok to let her dry out when the tide goes out. Obviously i plan to raise the leg into trailer mode and also close my stop cock.
I just wanted to know if safe to do it, i note that the rear of the bayliner 288 hull is relatively flat so I am hoping there wont be too much of a lean on it, any advice welcome
Particularly if you have done it before, there is also the option of tieing to the wall.
