I have a 2008 Bayliner 175 I/O. It recently wouldn't start. My mechanic has ordered a relay push button switch? He bypassed the wiring until it comes in. The boat started and ran well once but now won't start again. Dead silent, no clicking. Battery seems okay. Mercruiser. Help!

No relay push button switch...maybe a 50AMP red button circuit breaker.

Since you hired a mechanic, why not let him finish?

When you turn the key, do you get any gauge readings? ie: voltage, gas, radio...
