Day before yesterday I ran out of Cetol Natural Teak mid project so I walked over to LFS to buy another can. They were out. I asked them when they would get more, a few days. I called West Marine and asked if they had any and the guy asked what that was. I told him it's a teak finish and he said he would go check. Came back to the phone in a couple minutes and said they don't carry it. Yesterday I was at lunch, next door to West Marine, so I looked on line and noticed they do carry it. After lunch I walked over and when I walked in the guy asked what I needed. I said teak finishing products and he walked me over to where they had what I needed. At $49 it was almost twice as much as LFS so I asked if they price match and told him it's $32 at LFS. He said yes. So, I got my can of Cetol for $32 even though they don't carry it and they normally charge $49. I later went to LFS to get more brushes (they were $1.80 at West vs. $.60 at LFS) and noticed Cetol is actually $28, so I shorted myself $4. Bottom line is they price match local stores. Guy said their prices are national. Seems like their markup must be at least 100% if one store can sell for 28 and make a profit and they sell for 49.
