    2004 Bayliner 2855 Stern Light-gctid812461

The top section of my stern light was damaged during storage. Has anyone replaced? It is hard wired into the radar arch. I have limited electrical knowledge but could replace if its just connecting a few wires etc. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you,

Get the one at Wally's world. Its only about $20. And yes, connecting wires works. However, as an electrical professional, buy a can of "liquid 'lectric tape" or similar. You can coat the splices with it and they are waterproof. A can is about $8 at Home depot.

Hi, just unscrew the panel on the underside of the radar arch to see the wires. You can easily cut the wires and fit a new unit using basic crimp, plug or soldering connections.

There are plenty of options for sealing the connection with heat shrink or waterproof tape.

      Good luck
