1983 AQ125 dip stick coming out at high RPM-gctid812218

I have a 1883 Trophy with a AQ125 and when running at cursing RPM (4,000) the dip stick comes out of the tube about an 1/2 inch, the motor runs great with no issues except this, does anyone know what will cause this.

    Thanks

This would indicate excessive crankcase pressure. A blocked or stuck PCV system would cause this. Normally there are breather hoses that come off the valve cover and go to the spark arrestor to allow the crankcase to vent excess pressure back into the carburetor.

      Thanks,

I'll follow the hose, I know it doesn't come out of the valve cover but there is a hose that looks like it goes to a black plastic box on the side of the block. I'll pull the hose off when I get back to the marina
