While boating, I noticed the livewell always has water in it. about a quarter full. The petcock on the fill is off and the only way I can figure its coming in is from the drain, as it is below the waterline. Could water be traveling up the tube and into the livewell? I wouldnt mind sealing it off as I never use it and really have no plans on using it. Has anyone had this issue and or sealed it off?
