Hope You get it sorted, but it might be though. There has been a lot of "grey import" to Europe" that means its possible the boat did not had the CE documentation in the first place. There might be differences in the EU models compared to US domestic market models. If the boat has an CE plate, then its easier to get retroactive lost documentation/ declaration of conformity. The problem with declaration of conformity is that its not enough that an identical boat has this approval, each unit need to have it. If You can not get it from Bayliner You can always have it CE proofed, but that costs plenty, guess abt 3000 US so lets hope Bayliner will give the papers to You. Good Luck!
C-NUMB - yep fully agree with you. My boat was actually originally ordered from Bayliner Brunswick to be delivered in Germany - so CE plate mounted by Bayliner - that is why I could get it directly from Bayliner US.
If the boat was built to the US market it would not require a CE approval - then being imported into Europe it would need this approval - which is rather costly.
If the boat has the CE plate - it should be fairly easy to find the paperwork somewhere via the CE approval number.
