Hello-

I just purchased a 1986 Bayliner Capri 2150, 225 D Volvo (Chevy 305?) and 280 outdrive. Engine, outdrive and interior in good shape. I would like to paint the outdrive as part of it's service. Any recommendations on type of paint and color. It appears to be white.

Also any one have a Bayliner 1986 sales brochure they be willing to sell?

I used to have a sales brochure for you, but it's long gone with all my moves now.

The color is weird. The original color was/is a off-white/blue/green mix. You will see this if you paint the drive with true white paint.

Google search Volvo 275 (and 280 - your original drive was a 275) paint color and you will get hits.

Also, yes, you have a GM 305 in there. 225 hp, and that was the big engine that year.
