I have tried sooo many different cheap led bulbs from amazon, so far pretty much all have so many that go bad they are proving to be a real pain. If anyone has a link to reasonably priced led bulbs please share. A mix of dimmable and not dimmable is best...

      Try superbright.com or innovativelight.com or ledlight.com

I bought mine at a Napa auto parts store and thus far have worked fine!

Not dimmable though! But I don't have any dimmable lights!

Still looking for a replacement Led for masthead light!

      Good luck!

I bought these for my courtesy lights. They work well in my 245.

I have tried so many it will make your head spin. The ones for the courtesy lights need to have the correct color rendition and not too bright. This is the best I have found, slightly whiter than the stock and also slightly brighter but they do look great. Cheap too. http://www.ebay.com/itm/10x-LED-Warm...item4af666526b

Seems we may have different bulb types. The 4788 standard bases us G4 bulbs, and I think there are around 70 of them... a buck or two a piece is cool but I have seen some of the better places charging $10++/bulb...

The OP asked about curtesy lights and that is what I posted.

+1 Well, except for one that was toast before I plugged it in the first time. It was so cheap, I just tossed it out and didn't worry about it. (it came in a package of 20)

I replaced ten light fixtures that had the old fluorescent light bulbs or the older 12 volt bulbs and replaced the festoon bulbs in the ceiling lights I wanted to keep.

All were bought on ebay and have held up nicely for two years. I can't complain about the price either.

Are all festoon bulbs the same size or do they have different sizes & numbers. I want to replace my radar arch bulbs

They come in several different sizes. I looked back at last years order and they were 42mm and that covered all the festoons. Most if not all the festoon bulbs will be for ceiling lights but I also used the 42mm festoon on the red and green nav lights too. Pull one out and check. You never know what size bulb Bayliner used that day.
