Hello,

I am looking to replace the carpet in my 2002 3988 and doing a little research.

Are there any reputable suppliers that would have done this work, and be a good place for me to start?

We replaced ours about 5 years ago. We had it done by a local shop. They had a guy that had done boats in the past. That is a good question to ask. Our labour was by the hour and it took 22 hours to put in I did the carpet removal and cleanup. The carpet had been glued down, so lots of scraping and prep.

The new carpet and underlaywere glued down so you get no stretching.

Costs depend on what carpet you choose and the hourly rate the installer charge

Thanks sailorand, Any tips on removing the old? I am guessing scrape and whatever it takes along with that?
