    Genny question-gctid397397

Guys, It's been Africa hot up here lately. Last week, we spent a couple nights on the boat with all 4 kids.

The Westerbek works fine and the a/c kept the cabin cool even though it was 100 outside. My problem is this: I'm paranoid

about sleeping with the genny on. Yes I have a CO detector but it still makes me paranoid. In addition, the blower isn't

the quietest thing in the world.

What I'm considering is buying a Honda 2000 for occasions like this. Those that have them, do they work well powereing your a/c and fridge

overnight? Can they do this on a single tank? Though I know they are expensive, I'm justifying it by the handiness of having a decent portable

genny. Does this make sense or should I shut up and buy some ear plugs.

I just picked up a Honda 2000. I don't know the answer to your question, yet, but I'm headed to the Apostle Islands for 11 days at the end of the month - with the new Honda, I'm feeling really good about it!!
