Hi, everything I read conflicts . I have just swapped trailers for bayliner 185. Have now got an indespension dipper three trailer. Keep adjusting the bunks but struggling to get them both to sit flush. What takes the weight of the boat the bunks or the keel rollers ?

Not familiar with the trailer you mention, so I don't know how many keel rollers you have. Generally the bunks will carry most of the weight if there are only a few keel rollers. The bunks should be positioned so that they are under the main fore and aft stringers in the boat.

I have a bunk trailer with no keel rollers on it. The bunks take the load. I like the bunk trailer better than my buddys roller trailer for sure.

Here in Australia most alloy boats are supported by their keel and there is a bunk or series of rollers on each side preventing the boat from tipping over.
Glass boats have bunks or rollers but the keel never supports the weight of the boat
