  • Saying goodbye to our 2452 (2003)-gctid802462

We've been working on getting a larger (read longer and wider) boat to suit our purposes a little bit better and found a really nice 1998 Avanti 3685 over in NJ. So, after long and deliberate discussions (and quite a few barley pops), we're making the move . . going for the survey and sea trial, etc., etc. . . . . good news (for me) is that they're taking our 2452 in on trade which I think is the best of both worlds. . . . didn't relish all the ads and info you have to put out to attract worthy buyers . . . more trouble than it's worth IMHO . . . have the same opinion of buying cars too. Anyway, tomorrow is the day for delivery to the marina so we were sprucing her up today for her last pictures with us . . . . it's been a treat and she's been a good ride . . . I've fallen in love with that hard top and the large front windows too . gonna miss that . .. :S

. . . heck, gonna miss the whole boat, for that matter . . .

guess I'll have to change my avatar and signature now, huh? :woohoo:
