Each boats water liner is a little different depending on weight and equipment. If you don't know your water line yet I would put your boat in the ole H2O to know for sure and take your measurements from there. You can simulate the weight of your kicker by adding whatever weighs the same as your kicker weight specifications.

[img]/media/kunena/attachments/vb/700683=29379-3028.jpg[/img]I used this bracket and mounted it just below maybe an 1" below the starboard scupper........wish I mounted it on the port side now with hindsight....... batteries kicker etc. all on the same side creates a bit of list.opsPS you will need an xtra long leg

I've the exact same mount.... love it. This thing is bullit proof! I did mount mine on the port side. Can you move your batteries? I have one battery on each side, but with the helm position on starboard, when I'm alone, I'm perfectly balanced.
