For cheap heat nothing beats the Mr Heater Portable Buddy. It uses the green propane tanks or a long hose and a BBQ tank. It's designed for tents so it has tip over protection and low oxygen sensor. Less than $100. No need to run the generator all night.

+ 1 on Mr Heater. Plus you can get the adapter to the run the fan off a little inverter. Really the cheapest highest output heater around.

Marinaire (not marine air) 16k is about the only 16k unit that a Honda 2000 will start without a smart start. They are that efficient !
Put the smart start on it and the generator barely even hiccups .

We are in SoCal and only need A/C for a few days a year. Therefore, we place a portable unit in the doorway of the mid-birth and route the exhaust out the window. I made a special removable adapter for the exhaust. I also ran a separate 120 line from the main with a breaker. However, these draw very low amps and you could probably just use the receptacle existing on the 2859. This unit cools the entire area adequately. Attached are photos.

Just following. Even though dated, there is helpful info., and thought if anyone had anything to add, it would contained in one thread, vs. me starting a new thread on identical topic.

Thought about trying one of those. Where does the condensation go?

The easiest way is to set it up on a counter and drain into the galley sink. It could also go out a window or into the bilge.
