What engines are in 1990-4387 Bayliner-gctid394992

I would appreciate knowing what type (Ford-Mercruiser-ETAL) / manufacturered engines these are - plate on engine is the above US Marine. Need to secure manuals since a recent mechanic walked off with the manuals furnished with boat. I called a number after a referral given said that if I give the Hull ID # "they" would tell me the make and model of these engines for that manual......no such luck....referred to Mercruiser without success.

Hey buddy, If you don't get a response in this area you might try the Motor yacht section . You would be more likely to have a response from that section of larger boat owners. Just a thought. Garchar

Gas engines? My guess is 454 Mercruisers, but there are plenty of 4387 folks around to help you. Thing is US Marine is long out of business. Those blocks all start life as GM (assuming they are gas) and get stamped something else. Good luck and welcome.

Hi Your engine's are HINO's its a diesel truck motor made by Toyota. It's either a 220 HP or 250 HP.

The 4387/4587 came with Mercruiser 7.4 gas engines and 250hp Hino diesels.
