    1998 2855-gctid392581

So I'm at my new slip surrounded by bigger boats than mine. We have been sleeping there most weekend and have gotten to know a bunch of people who are all saying that I'll be upgrading soon.

    Anyway...

The boat that use to be in my slip is for sale it a 1998 2855. Has a 7.4l with a bravo 3 out drive. Extra props, swim platform, full camper enclosures with the black outs, AC, bottom paint was done 2 years ago. I didn't ask hours but all the people around me said the previous owner took great care of the boat. The interior was very clean, the only cosmetic issues were some rubbing from the fenders on the sides of the boat and some of the striping was worn off.

What do you all think this boat is worth?

I ask this cause after reading a lot of threads here about pricing I'm coming to the conclusion that we pay way more for boat in Colorado than you all on the coasts.

Depends on how long you want to sit on it. A quick search on nada shows 19K being the HIGH retail price for my area. 22K? Perhaps nada is on the low side.

Are you looking to buy one? or just a comparison because you have one?

As suggested, you are probably safe in the $18-22K range.

He wants 28,000 for it. I'm just surprised how high cruisers go for out here. I paid on the high end for my boat earlier this year.

I'm not in a position to upgrade boats yet but I sure do like looking at all of them.
