Finally splashed the boat on Sunday-gctid390976

After a number of maintenance items and the other demands of family life, we finally put the boat in the lake on Sunday. I am still waiting on some hardware to install the new swim platform but we decided it was too nice of a day not to go boating. No problems at the ramp on a very busy afternoon, my wife had that perfectly in order while I parked the vehicle. We had a great time all afternoon checking out the boat, doing a little fishing, finally bringing it dockside at our marina without incident. A very nice afternoon and making it even more special, we were celebrating our 38th wedding anniversary last weekend.

Happy anniversary!! We also splashed last weekend. Did not start off too good. Had a dead battery. But after that, it was a great day on the water!!

It was pretty busy out there. Especially around 1:30 pm. There was quite a line of boats waiting to go south under Brady Bridge. Hopefully this rain will help Greenwood Lake.
