well....today was a good day...hadn't had many of those since I had a stomach bug a few weeks ago that kicked my butt all last week.....

this morning I got up early and went to the gun range...no big deal right??wrong..the admirable went with me to do some practicing with her home defense .380cal. pistol....I shot my new M4 and my glock.......we murdered some serious paper targets and had a ball....

then went home to drop the weapons and ammo off...then went to the boat..tossed it into the water and low and behold..marsha drove the boat..granted we only did about 10-15 mph..but that's what she wanted to do and that's fine considering she hadn't stepped foot on the boat since the accident last yr........

we went out and into gardner bay to mess around there....came home....put the boat away and although she was nervous as all hell....she did good.....

it's a start.....

so..I had a good day....got to shoot up my new m4 and take the boat out for a bit......

and hopefully she will feel a little better about boating ....

oh yeah!!!....almost forgot....don't know how I could forget this !!!

this guy comes in a few lanes down from me...at first I thought he pulled out an m4 with a bull barrel...then he proceeds to shoot this thing....turns out this canon of his is actually a BEOWOLF .50 cal. rifle that is designed to stop a raging tank!!!!

we talked and compared weapons and he liked mine and let me shoot his .50 cal.....OH MY GOD!!!.....THIS THING WAS AWESOME!!!!

I've always dreamed of shooting one and this thing was almost orgasmic!!!....no kidding....the beowolf was incredible with a kick like a pi$$ed off mule........but fun!!!...

don't know how many rnds he let me fire off...but I had a good group at about 25 yrds inside .....

If you guys would take an extra battery on your boat and a windup coil that is properly rigged, you could shock some fish toward the top and do some real fun shootin'. Makes for some good dinner too!:arr

Damn, I thought I was the only one that shot fish. Last one I got was a 4lb. Cat with my 44...
