Did the SmartPlug install today. The Bayliner screws that hold the inlet were too big, so I drilled out the smart plug holes slightly and they fit fine. I couldn't get the strain relief cover onto the back of the new inlets, so hopefully they will be fine. The printed instructions made no mention of them anyway, only the video did. Looks good overall. The one part that I HATE is that I did the retrofit of my existing shore power cords instead of buying the new cords, and the retrofit end does not include an LED power indicator. I did not realize this when I bought it, or I would have spent the money for the new cords with the LED. Oh well.
Thanks to Jim and everyone who shared their experience with me, made the install a lot easier.
I wouldn't worry about the LED indicators- on my last cord with the LEDs, the LEDs failed in short order. I've always used the indicators on the power panel anyway...
