    Ladder Strap help-gctid388426

Hoping the wizards at the BOC can help me out. I need a replacement piece. I don't even know what to call it. Sound like fun so far? Great, then here is what I'm looking for.I have a telescoping ladder that telescopes and slides up under my extended swim platform. There is a little rubber strap (that's the only thing I can think of to call it so far) that is attached to the ladder brackets that, when the ladder is pulled in, stretches to go over the knob that is on the bottom rung of the ladder. This piece keeps the ladder in place while the boat is underway. The picture below shows a similar setup and I've contacted that company to see if they will sell that piece seperately. Anyone know what this is called so I can search for it? Anyone have any idea where to get one? I looked through the parts catalog on the Bayliner site and they don't detail this item. West Marines annual catalog didn't seem to have anything either.I'll take all the help I can get. Thanks.Oh, and in order to help generate responses, I'm pretty sure that LazyCruiser needs to know the answer to this as well:arr

      This is close: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/6-X-RUBBER...#ht_3773wt_905

swimplatforms.com ships with the strap in your pic, perhaps they would sell you one.

Thanks for the tips. I looked at their site prior to posting and they just didn't have a pic of the ladder solution so I didn't know that they used the same ladder setup.

I already heard back from Manny at Aqua Peformance and he's already arranged to get me the part so I think we're good. Thanks to Manny at Aqua. They have some good ladders over there.

Now, again because of the power of the BOC I've got a solution. I think I'll go donate now. Thanks all.
