Has anyone heard/seen a pole to mount a flag from that fits in the rear nav light holder?

Yes, it's called a rear nav light, you stick it in the socket and put your flag on it...

Seriously though, if what you want is a short version, just get a short plug-in light, they are dirt cheap.

The socket depth is not deep enough nor is the socket strong enough to support a flag flapping in the breeze. Do yourself a favor..get a real flag pole socket and a real flag pole and fly old glory properly.
