It looks like the weather might put a damper on my mini 5 day trip to Two Harbors for memorial. I was planing on leaving Thursday this week and coming home Monday Memorial Day.. This Special Weather Statement looks bleak right now..

I was going to hit Two Harbors too. I have been watching this closely. Generally NOAA is way off whenever I go out. I usually trust looking at the buoy data before departure to make my go or no-go decision on running the channel. With this being a named storm and the massive LP to HP gradient, I'm afraid the winds are going to be cooking out there. Maybe the storm turns east and just slams into MX.
