There's a MINT 96 here for $44k, though it's a gasser which obviously has a serious impact on value.
That looks to be a good $20k overpriced... I bet there's a lot more work than you expect.

Let's assume both diesels are shot. Figure $50k right there.
Another 3k for upholstery.
Thats your "farm out" work.
The rest of the refit could be DIY for sweat equity.

I am familiar with this boat. It spent the winter of 2009-2010 at Dagmars in Everett next to me. It is a 3488 with 330Hp Cummins it has a hardtop for a 3258 on so the guy could fish. The aft engine hatches have been rebuilt as the previous owner was a very big guy. It left Dagmars spring of 2010 and didn't come back. It was his intention to do so. I imagine it has sat idle since the end of fishing 2010. It sits stern down and the engine compartments are very full. It was in decent condition when it left.

The only way to consider this boat is with a full marine survey including an engine survey with an oil #222222 wrote:

not all good deals are a good deal!
You will never know the real truth untill You buy it and start working on it,that`s my opinion
the survey always works with the dealer IMO

The safest bet is to figure on a complete re-power and hope you get lucky

It would be a deal if it ran - not much of a deal with one engine not running.
Boat is a 50K boat in average condition in todays market.
That said - that model is a nightmare to do any work on in the bilge and it is a safe bet that because of it there is all sorts of neglected stuff down there especially if the prior owner is a big guy and even less likely to fit.

What is the point of diesel than?
Two gas engines could be put in there for 30k less. 30k buys alot of fuel.

Why diesel, well some boats benefit from the extended range that diesel engines provide.
You will not repower that boat for $20K in and out the door, labor included. Not for 2 engines, installed. Not going to happen. I've been there too.
That hull is narrow. Its too tight to work in between the engines with inline 6 cummins. I cannot imagine v8's.
