Yes, the 246 is ideally suited as a small cruiser for regions where conditions are not always sunny, like Lake Superior. Many boaters would probably appreciate how useable this little boat is after fighting with canvas bimini's and plastic curtains. Both of these items tend to get tattered and opaque over time.
